You are cordially invited to the Shirin Fozdar Programme (SFP), “Conference On The Move III: Smart Nation in the Making” hosted by Housing & Development Board (HDB).

In July 2015, HDB announced that Yuhua residents would be the first to experience ‘Smart Living’ in an existing HDB estate. Within the neighbourhood, residents will benefit from improved estate services, with the help of sensors to monitor the performance of municipal services such as waste collection, and the consumption of electricity and water. Using the data collected, the Town Council can optimise maintenance cycles, pre-empt problems, or target problems at the source. The initiatives will be progressively installed till 2018.

The Yuhua residents are also given the opportunity to experience first-hand the use of smart devices and solutions, such as the Elderly Monitoring System and Utilities Management System, at home. These systems allow residents to have better manage their utilities consumption, and have a greater peace of mind with regard to the safety and well-being of elderly residents who may be alone at home.

Join us for a visit to Yuhua estate and learn about the sustainable improvements implemented under the HDB Greenprint and how the introduction of smart features has transformed Yuhua into a Smart and sustainable neighbourhood.

Kindly note that registration is strictly by invitation and limited seats are available on a first-come-first-serve basis. SFP reserves the right to the acceptance of registration.
